US military updates findings on Syria attack

The U.S. military initially said that the attack on Green Village in Syria earlier this month was from indirect fire, but officials said they now believe it was explosive charges.

Officials concluded last week that the April 7 attack was carried out by one or more people who used the “deliberate placement of explosive charges,” according to a statement from the command that oversees military operations against the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq.
