Six people, including the suspect, were reportedly killed in a shooting at the Molson Coors headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Large numbers of the police, the FBI, and members of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, congregated in the area surrounding the Molson Coors, formerly Miller Coors, campus on Wednesday, and nearby schools were placed on lockdown. Officers, seen wearing tactical gear and holding guns, responded to the shooting at about 2:11 p.m. local time.
A source told WTMJ at the time that there were “multiple casualties” in an incident at the facility. The shooter was reportedly an employee of Molson Coors who was fired earlier in the day. He then returned with a firearm and began shooting. It isn’t clear what type of gun was used in the rampage.

Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett told reporters that the shooting “remains an active scene” and is “still very fluid.”
“It is a horrible, horrible day for the employees here. A very rough day for anyone who is close to this situation,” Barrett said. “There are multiple people who have died.”
President Trump addressed the shooting Wednesday evening at the start of a press conference on the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, extending his “deepest condolences to the victims and families.”
“Earlier today, a wicked murderer opened fire at a Molson Coors Brewing company, plant, taking the lives of five people,” Trump said. “Our hearts break for them and their loved ones. We send our condolences.”
Democratic State Sen. LaTonya Johnson thanked first responders in a statement and pointed out how the Molson Coors facility is a fixture in Milwaukee.
“Molson Coors is a part of our community, and we are a part of theirs,” LaTonya said. “They have been a part of Milwaukee’s near west side for over 100 years. We grieve over the loss of life and pledge to work to build the safest community we can.”
Milwaukee Alderman Russell Stamper invoked the words of Martin Luther King Jr. in the wake of the shooting, saying, “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”
Employees at the facility, which employs hundreds of people, were notified by email that there was an active shooter and the complex was placed into lockdown. Roads around the area were also shut down. The area of the shooting includes a mix of corporate offices and brewery facilities.
The Milwaukee Police Department urged residents and the media to stay away from the scene of the shooting. Police are expected to update the media on the situation, but it is not clear when further information will be released directly from law enforcement.
MPD is investigating a critical incident in the 4000 block of W. State Street. Please stay clear of the area at this time.
