Former Vice President Joe Biden said many of the Internet memes portraying his and former President Barack Obama’s relationship are “in essence…all true.”
Biden told NBC News he knows memes are how many young people know him and said he has some favorites.
“A couple of ones I liked were ones where I was trying on Ray Bans and he’s lying on the couch and I turn around and I said, ‘Which ones do you like?’ And he looks at me and says, ‘Joe, Joe, come on, focus here,’” Biden said, referring to a clip from a White House video that showed that the then-president and vice president were in on the joke.

Another of his favorites had him telling Obama about pranking incoming President Trump with a “fake birth certificate.” Trump was a leading voice in the conspiracy theory that Obama’s American birth certificate wasn’t authentic.
biden: cmon you gotta print a fake birth certificate, put it in an envelope labeled “SECRET” and leave it in the oval office desk
