Restaurant week offers specials for local diners

Baltimore City?s Winter Restaurant Appreciation Week is Feb. 5 to 9. Diners will be able to get upscale, gourmet meals for lower price. The event serves to boost business during cold weather, when people are less likely to go out to eat.

The idea for Winter Restaurant Week came from James J. Kinney, the owner of The Capital Grille.

“I wanted to thank my loyal guests and friends for a terrific first year in Baltimore and a fabulous holiday season by treating them to special meals at AAA special rates,” he said.
