Police in riot gear made at least 35 arrests as they dispersed protestors following a Donald Trump rally in San Diego, the San Diego Tribune reported.
The crowd outside the rally was peaceful until after the event, when fights began to break out between protestors and Trump supporters leaving the rally. Protestors threw plastic bottles at police and one burned someone’s pro-Trump “Make America Great Again” hat.
Eighteen people were treated on the scene for injuries.
