The headline on this Justin Sink piece in The Hill reads:
Obama: US ‘doing exactly what we should be doing’ in ISIS fight
Confidence is a good thing. Especially in a commander in chief. But this is the same president whose administration assured us that everything was running perfectly before the rollout of the Obamacare website. So a little skepticism, one thinks, might be prudent.
But the president isn’t having any and goes on to engage in his favorite sport of shooting down straw men, adding that:
“… those who want us to shoot first and aim later” were typically the ones to “get this country into really bad situations,” and that his administration was doing everything it could short of that. “Anything that we could be doing, we are doing,” he said.
