Conmed Healthcare Management, a Hanover-based provider of correctional facility health care services, saw its second quarter revenue increase 51 percent to $9 million from $6 million this past year.
Second-quarter profit increased 33 percent to $1.5 million from $1.1 million in the same period in 2007.
“We continue to generate robust top line growth through a combination of new contracts and extensions to existing contracts reflecting expansion of services as well as price adjustments and are positioned to deliver record revenue for the full fiscal year,” Richard Turner, chairman and CEO of Conmed, said in a statement.
