The conservative House Freedom Caucus condemned Rep. Justin Amash, one of its founding members, on Monday for saying President Trump committed impeachable offenses.
Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, said every member of the caucus in attendance for the group’s weekly meeting opposed Amash’s comments. The group needs 80% of support from its members to take a formal position on a matter.
