Mulvaney hits New York Times for misidentifying his sons as girls

A top Trump administration official drew laughs at Thursday’s White House briefing by asking the New York Times to correct an article in which it misidentified the gender of his two sons.

Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney said the Times is in “big trouble” for the error, which said he is the father of three 17-year-old triplets who are all girls.

“My 17-year-old daughter really wishes … that had happened, but my two 17-year-old sons are really upset,” he said. “So if you could clarify that, that would be great.”
