Death of Texas Tech freshman blamed on alcohol

LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) — A coroner has determined a Dallas-area freshman at Texas Tech University whose body was found last month in a house died of acute alcohol intoxication.

Lubbock County’s medical examiner on Tuesday announced the death of 18-year-old Dalton Debrick of Irving has been ruled an accident.
