After the U.S. national women’s soccer team won against the Netherlands 2-0, spectators in the stands voiced their support for the player to be paid more.
Videos posted from stands showed multiple fans chanting “equal pay!” on Sunday.

In a statement after their win, a spokeswoman for the U.S. team said, “These athletes generate more revenue and garner higher TV ratings but get paid less simply because they are women. It is time for the Federation to correct this disparity once and for all.”
In audited financial statements obtained by the Wall Street Journal, the U.S. Soccer Federation found the women’s team has generated more money for them than the men’s team for the past three years. This is the center of a lawsuit the women’s team filed against the Federation to get a raise.
While people at the game were chanting about equal pay, fans were shouting something entirely different at one French sports bar.
When Fox News reporter Greg Palkot started to give his report after the U.S. beat the Netherlands, people in the bar began to chant “F— Trump!”
