A native of the Atlanta suburbs, Craft had worked for Coca-Cola for five years when he decided to quit his job and go to seminary. Feeling called by God to spread the message of Christianity through the local church, he is now the co-pastor of a new congregation in Northwest D.C. Restoration Church started as an evening book study in 2009; its 62 members now meet in Tenleytown and will hold their Easter service at 5 p.m. Craft, who lives in Friendship Heights with his wife and two daughters, spoke to The Washington Examiner about the holiday and his belief in the reality of Jesus’ resurrection.
