RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — The city of Martinsville had the highest jobless rate in Virginia in May.
The Virginia Employment Commission says the city’s seasonally unadjusted unemployment rate was 10.8 percent. That’s down from 11.2 percent in April and down from 12.3 percent a year ago.
