The much anticipated new episode of the final season of “Game of Thrones” included an unexpected twist: the brief appearance of a Starbucks coffee cup.
A tweet last night by online influencer Zane Hijazi went viral pointing out the show’s faux pas.
“[M]y favorite show in the entire world forgot a STARBUCKS COFFEE CUP ON THE TABLE WHILE FILMING,” Hijazi, a former Vine star and YouTuber, said.

“TBH we’re surprised she didn’t order a Dragon Drink,” Starbucks said in response to the kerfuffle, referring to Daenerys, the “Mother of Dragons,” who appears in the scene.

Daenerys likely did not choose Starbuck’s Dragon Drink as it comes in a clear glass while the cup in the scene appears to be one of Starbucks signature white cups with a green logo.
