Sneek a peek in the region’s coolest homes

We don’t know about you, but as journalists we love snooping around. And nothing’s more fun than getting a peek inside that fancy house you’ve been eyeing in your neighborhood, right? You know which one I’m talking about … the one with those annoying tall bushes at the sidewalk so perfectly friendly passersby can’t even get a small glimpse of the property.

At any rate, a new online TV show has been launched for the nosey Nellie in all of us. Produced by the housing data tracker Metropolitan Regional Information Systems, two shows feature homes in the D.C. area.

Distinctive Digs shows short clips about ritzy homes none of us can afford. (Who knew the region’s largest home — 12 bedrooms, 17 bathrooms, an elevator, a beauty salon, indoor pool, sauna and a full tennis court — was in Bethesda?)

For the more business-inclined, the Real Estate show features clips of experts hashing out the latest twists and turns of the industry and what that means for buyers and sellers.
