WATCH LIVE: Indicted Donald Trump pleads ‘not guilty’ in Miami courthouse


Former President Donald Trump has left the Trump National Doral Miami and arrived at the Wilkie D. Ferguson Jr. U.S. Courthouse in Florida for his arraignment on federal charges related to his alleged mishandling of classified documents Tuesday afternoon.

Trump has been booked at the courthouse and pleaded “not guilty” just after 3 p.m.

Trump was indicted last week by a grand jury in a case being investigated by special counsel Jack Smith, who is also investigating the former president’s alleged role in the Capitol riot on Jan. 6, 2021.

Trump is the first current or former president to be federally indicted after he became the first former or current president to be indicted on state charges in New York in March.
