President Trump touted a new Rasmussen poll showing his approval rating at 51 percent, while slamming the mainstream media polls for being “inaccurate.”
“Rasmussen just came out at 51% Approval despite the Fake News Media. They were one of the three most accurate on Election Day. Just about the most inaccurate were CNN and ABC News/Washington Post, and they haven’t changed (get new pollsters). Much of the media is a Scam,” Trump tweeted Tuesday.

Trump was referencing a Rasmussen Reports daily presidential tracking poll from Monday which showed that 51 percent of “likely U.S. voters approve of President Trump’s job performance.”
Trump’s daily tracking poll at the time of his tweet showed that 49 percent of voters approved of the job he’s doing in office.
Following Gallup putting an end to their Trump approval rating polls, Rasmussen is the only nationally recognized firm tracking Trump’s approval ratings on a daily basis.
