ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) — A man who called 911 several times to report hoax bomb threats against Kodak has been sentenced to two years in prison.
Omer Mohammed appeared Wednesday in federal court in Rochester, where he pleaded guilty in December to making false bomb threats.
Authorities say he told 911 dispatchers in September 2012 that his acquaintances were terrorists and were going to blow up Rochester-based Kodak. He called again four months later to report that an acquaintance had hidden explosives with plans to use them at Kodak.
The calls sent emergency responders to the Rochester campus but no explosives were found.
