The former chairman of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign shot back at President Trump in a series of tweet Friday, hours after Trump said “everyone” at the G-20 summit was talking about him.
Over seven tweets, John Podesta said he was on a road trip with his wife when he pulled over to see “that our whack job POTUS” was tweeting about him.
Everyone here is talking about why John Podesta refused to give the DNC server to the FBI and the CIA. Disgraceful!

“Everyone here is talking about why John Podesta refused to give the DNC server to the FBI and the CIA. Disgraceful!” Trump wrote on Twitter earlier Friday morning.
Podesta never worked for the Democratic National Committee and would not have been responsible for its email system, which was hacked during the 2016 election. Podesta’s personal account was hacked separately, revealing many inner workings of the Clinton campaign.

“Get a grip man, the Russians committed a crime when they stole my emails to help you get elected President,” Podesta posted, “Maybe you might try to find a way to mention that to President Putin.”
Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin met on Thursday, their first face-to-face encounter since Trump’s election.
The highly anticipated meeting follows months of accusations that Russia attempted to meddle in the 2016 election, as well as allegations that Trump associates may have colluded in the efforts.
The U.S. intelligence committee has held to the assertion that Russia was involved with cyberattacks in 2016, though Trump said Thursday that “nobody really knows for sure” if Russia was behind them.
