URBANA, Ill. (AP) — About 200 people turned out at the University of Illinois to rededicate the campus’ beloved Alma Mater statue.

Chancellor Phyllis Wise spoke at Friday’s ceremony along with Jean Taft Bandler. She is the daughter of statue sculptor Loredo Taft.
