Porn star Stormy Daniels blasted Lanny Davis, an attorney for Michael Cohen, for saying his client had been the only person to tell the truth amid investigations related to President Trump.
“Are you f—ing kidding me!? While I appreciate Cohen coming clean (eventually), he’s NOT the honest one in this story. He wouldn’t know bravery if it kicked him in the teeth. This is the most insulting thing I’ve read on Twitter which is saying a lot if you read my timeline,” Daniels tweeted Monday.
The porn star often responds with barbed comments to those questioning her career and her account of sex with Trump more than a decade ago, which the president denies.
Cohen paid Daniels $130,000 in exchange for her silence before the 2016 presidential election. He is now serving a 3-year prison sentence in part for campaign finance violations related to the payment.
Trump’s former longtime fixer testified to lawmakers that the president’s attorney Jay Sekulow told him to lie to members of Congress about when negotiations to construct a Trump Tower in Moscow concluded.
“Lets remind him we are grateful for his bravery, as he has been the only person to stand up and tell the truth in this entire matter – in contrast to [Trump],” Davis tweeted Monday.
