The progressive veterans group VoteVets.org Tuesday tweeted a screenshot showing President Donald Trump blocked them on the social media service.
“The Commander in Chief can block @VoteVets, the voice of 500k military veterans and families, but we will NOT be silenced,” the group tweeted.

According to their website, the group is a political action committee that works with “all progressive allies representing labor, immigration, gay and lesbian rights, and environmentalists, when their issues coincide with the needs of troops and veterans.” The organization has over 500,000 members and has raised over $30 million since its founding in 2006.
Neither the group nor Trump has indicated what was responsible for the block.
The group has previously retweeted Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., Sen. Bernie Sanders, D-V.T., and Rep. Ted Lieu, D-Calif.
It’s also been critical of Trump directly, but it’s still not clear what led to the block.
Last week, the group criticized an online report about a raid in Dearborn, Mich., related to Human Abedin, calling it “fake news.”
There is no evidence the FBI raid in Dearborn is related to Huma Abedin. More #fakenews from Trump fans bc of the FBI/Russia investigation!

On Memorial Day, the group criticized Trump for not acknowledging the Gold Star family of Humayun Khan while visiting Arlington National Cemetery.
Trump’s 60 second stop in Section 60 on #memorialday and he didn’t stop at CPT Khan’s grave less than 50 yards away. #ArlingtonCemetary

On May 20, the group said that the Saudis had missed a chance to educate Trump about how his anti-Islamic rhetoric “has helped ISIS & hurt our troops.”
The Saudis have caved & missed their opportunity to “educate” Trump on why his anti-Islam rhetoric has helped ISIS & hurt our troops.
