The Charles Village Festival kicked off Saturday morning with its 10th annual parade, The Decca Dance.

The Children of the World Co-op led the way from the front of the Peace on Earth General Store at 2443 St. Paul St., followed by children from the Charles Village Recreation Association, 12-foot-tall peace puppets, a performance from Fluid Movement and rocking city marching bands such as the Baltimore All-Stars and the Edmondson Village Steppers.
