Former President Donald Trump was hit with three additional charges Thursday in special counsel Jack Smith’s classified documents investigation.
Trump faces a new charge of willful retention of national defense information and two charges related to allegedly directing a Mar-a-Lago employee to delete security footage to prevent a federal grand jury from seeing it.
The Justice Department named a third defendant in the case, Carlos De Oliveria, an employee of Mar-a-Lago.
