Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce took to the floor of the Wells Fargo Center to sing “The Star-Spangled Banner” before the Sixers-Nuggets game Monday.
The video of the NFL Pro Bowl center singing has been shared widely on social media.
NBC Sports Philadelphia called Kelce “a national treasure.”
“Jason….you are THE MAN, but don’t quit your Sunday job just yet!,” a Twitter user commented. “That performance ranks up there with Rosann Barr’s rendition but you did it for a good cause…..God Bless you and your family!”

“It’s that Philly mentality,” the Twitter user said. “This is how we express ourselves. We are not ashamed to be us; we are Philly!”

Other tweets attempted to rank Kelce’s performance, with one noting he was far better than Fergie’s 2020 NBA All-Star Game rendition.
