The Washington Redskins already play in Prince George’s County on Sundays, and may choose to stay for the other six days of the week.

Prince George’s officials have requested $25,000 from the Maryland Stadium Authority to study making the county the new home of Redskins headquarters, according to the Washington Business Journal.

The Redskins’ existing headquarters are in Ashburn, Va. But Prince George’s already has the team’s home turf, FedEx Field in Landover.

The Washington Post reported in February that team owner Daniel Snyder said he would “open” to moving away from the Ashburn facility.

The Maryland Stadium Authority is scheduled to consider the request on Tuesday. Study costs would be split among the county, the state’s Department of Business and Economic Development, and the stadium authority.
