Former Prince George’s County Executive Jack Johnson pleaded not-guilty on all eight counts of corruption-related charges Tuesday.
Speaking to reporters after the arraignment in U.S. District Court in Greenbelt, Johnson said he doesn’t “recognize the person” detailed in the indictments.
Federal prosecutors said Johnson took bribes from developers in return for favorable treatment.
His attorney, Billy Martin, said they plan to “fight” the charges.
