Michael Phillip Luby, 48, was captured recently in Vermont after fleeing Harford County in March, a fugitive convicted of 54 counts of crimes ranging from theft to forgery by a grand jury, according to the Harford County State?s Attorney?s Office.
Luby stole more than $2 million from victims the last two years in an “elaborate scheme involving property” in Maryland and Virginia, according to the state?s attorney.
He is being returned to Harford and will be held on a $3 million bond at the county?s detention center.
