Ivanka Trump will reportedly forego accepting a formal position in her father’s administration, despite her husband’s plans to serve as a senior adviser to the incoming Republican president.
Trump’s eldest daughter plans to relocate to Washington, D.C., in the coming weeks with her husband, Jared Kushner, and their three children. But according to Reuters, Ivanka will not take a job in the White Houser under President-elect Trump.
The announcement on Monday came hours after news broke that Kushner had found a way around anti-nepotism laws, and will accept a senior role in his father-in-law’s administration.
Kushner is expected to resign from his current position as owner of the New York Observer.
