Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly tweeted Friday that Hillary Clinton should stop “using my name” to hit Donald Trump for his comments on women, and instead come on her show.
The Democratic presidential nominee criticized Trump during Monday’s debate for having allegedly “called women pigs, slobs and dogs,” comments that are nearly identical to a question posed by Kelly during a debate more than a year ago. Trump sparked a public feud with Kelly after responding she had “blood coming out of her whatever” in response, comments largely criticized as sexist.
Yes, @HillaryClinton, do 30 min w/@maryjblige, & then perhaps u will finally sit w/me, instead of just using my name to hit @realDonaldTrump https://t.co/5T9Dhwk2s1

Kelly’s Friday tweet included a link to a softball interview of Clinton conducted by singer Mary J. Blige, where the candidate complains about how it’s “really hard” for women taking leadership roles to be seen as tough yet likable.
“And so people are always judging how we look and how we talk and all the rest of it. I get all of that, but one of the reasons I’m so proud to be running for president is because I wanna break that highest and hardest glass ceiling,” Clinton said.
This is not the first time Kelly has put pressure on the Clinton camp, asking the campaign’s press secretary Brian Fallon during post-debate coverage why the candidate hasn’t come on her show despite calling her a “superb journalist when Trump was attacking me.”
“Hillary Clinton went on record and called yours truly a superb journalist when Trump was attacking me,” Kelly pointed out.
“Why won’t she come on ‘The Kelly File?’ ” she asked, before Fallon said he agreed with Clinton’s assessment of her journalistic abilities and said an interview it’s “only a matter of time.”
