President Obama left President-elect Trump a stripped down White House on his last day in office, one filled with empty picture frames on the walls.
The transition of power in Washington, while peaceful, has involved planning, logistics and many moving trucks over the last few weeks.

Offices were cleared, desks were emptied. And yes, even photos came off the walls.

This week, a moving truck was seen unloading boxes of “fine art” into Obama’s new home several blocks north of the White House.
A moving truck was seen in early January just outside the White House, helping to move the Obama administration out.
