In since-deleted tweets, Ben Domenech, the husband of Meghan McCain and co-founder of The Federalist, angrily tweeted at late-night host Seth Meyers following an interview he conducted with McCain.
“I see that @sethmeyers, the untalented piece of shit who only has his job because he regularly gargled Lorne Michael’s balls, went after my wife tonight with his idiotic anti-Semitic bullshit,” Domenech said in one tweet.
“Seth is an awful person who is known within the industry for how terrible he is. He is a monumental asshole who is utterly unfunny. He deserves the mockery he receives from all the people who laugh at him,” he continued in a tweet thread.

“Here is proof that white men get ahead despite their obvious lack of talent: it’s @sethmeyers, who would beg for a third of the viewers at @TheView. He’s awful, untalented, and a perfect definition of a cuck,” Domenech tweeted.
Following backlash and accusations of using homophobic attacks, Domenech said his tweet about Meyers regularly gargling “Lorne Michael’s balls” was not meant to be literal.
“Seth Meyers is trash. I believe this steadfastly and have for years. He only has his job because of sucking up to the right people. He is an untalented hack. My reference was obviously metaphorical and that’s it,” Domenech told Mediaite.
He also apologized for the tweets against Meyers on Wednesday.
I love my wife. I apologize for rage tweeting about how Seth Meyers treated her. I don’t like him, I think he’s a hack, but I shouldn’t have done that. I’m sorry to anyone I offended.

The interview that sparked the tweets was over the debate McCain and Meyers had about Rep. Ilhan Omar’s, D-Minn., anti-Semitic comments.
