ESPN commentator named Fox & Friends weekend co-host

ESPN commentator Will Cain is the newest co-host of the weekend airings of Fox & Friends.

Cain, 45, who hosted an ESPN radio show and has been a frequent panelist on the morning debate show First Take, will make his official debut alongside co-hosts Jedediah Bila and Pete Hegseth on Aug. 15, according to a press release from Fox News on Monday.

“I am excited to join the team at Fox & Friends weekend and look forward to building upon my experience in sports, news, and politics on the number one morning show in the country,” Cain said.

Gavin Hadden, vice president of morning programming added, “Will has a unique ability to connect with an audience on a wide variety of topics and will make an excellent addition to the Fox & Friends franchise.”

In announcing his departure from ESPN last week, Cain proclaimed, “I have a new opportunity that I’m excited to announce in the coming days. I’m thankful for my five years at ESPN and loved every day of The Will Cain Show. We’ve had fun, challenged consensus, sought the truth and succeeded in growing this time slot beyond historical expectations.”

Prior to joining ESPN in 2015, Cain worked for CNN and the Blaze. He also financed, bought, and sold two media companies.
