Trump scolds ‘Mini Mike’ Bloomberg for licking ‘dirty fingers’ amid coronavirus fears

President Trump chastised Michael Bloomberg for licking his “dirty fingers” amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Trump, who referred to Bloomberg as “Mini Mike,” tweeted a video on Tuesday, sourced from the messaging app Snapchat, that shows the former New York City mayor licking his fingers, tearing off a small piece of pizza and tossing the rest back into the box, and eating the small piece before he again licks his fingers.

“Mini Mike, don’t lick your dirty fingers. Both unsanitary and dangerous to others and yourself!” Trump said.

The tweet came just as polls closed in the first states on Super Tuesday, Bloomberg’s first time on the ballot. Bloomberg, who has self-funded his campaign to the tune of more than $500 million, entered the 2020 race late and skipped early voting contests in states such as Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina.

The coronavirus has sickened at least 122 people in the United States. The death toll associated with the COVID-19 virus rose to nine on Tuesday. Globally, it has infected more than 92,000 and killed at least 3,162.
