Gas prices in the Baltimore area continued their decline from midsummer records.
The average price for a gallon of regular in the Baltimore area is $3.53, down 50 cents from the region’s high of $4.03, reached June 19, according to AAA. The average price for a gallon of diesel in the Baltimore area is $4.29, down 56 cents from its high of $4.85, reached July 17.
Still, regular gas prices are up 33 percent from a year ago, while diesel prices are up 50 percent.
