Joe Biden: I would have ‘beat the hell out’ of Trump in high school

Former Vice President Joe Biden told students at the University of Miami on Tuesday that he could have “beat the hell out of” President Trump in high school and appeared to take a dig at Trump’s appearance.

“A guy who ended up becoming our national leader said, ‘I can grab a woman anywhere and she likes it,'” Biden said while speaking at an anti-sexual assault rally, ABC News reported. “They asked me if I’d like to debate this gentleman, and I said ‘no.’ I said, ‘If we were in high school, I’d take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him.'”

“I’ve been in a lot of locker rooms my whole life,” Biden continued. “I’m a pretty damn good athlete. Any guy that talked that way was usually the fattest, ugliest S.O.B. in the room.”

It’s at least the second time Biden said he wished he could physically fight Trump. Just weeks before the election, Biden said he wished he were in high school so that he could take Trump “behind the gym.” Those comments were also in reference to the 2005 “Access Hollywood” tape in which Trump was caught on a hot mic talking about inappropriately touching women without their consent.

Referencing the #MeToo movement, Biden said Tuesday the country has made progress in battling sexual assault, but there’s more that needs to be done.

“Sexual assault is about power and the abuse of power more than it is about sex,” he said.
