Social media took notice of former President Barack Obama moving his daughter into Harvard Tuesday.
The former president announced his elder daughter would be attending the Ivy League school in May of 2016.
Dorms officially opened on Harvard’s Cambridge, Mass., campus on Tuesday, and Twitter was quick to notice Malia Obama’s arrival.
She declined to comment when approached by a Boston Globe reporter.
Malia Obama is expected to reside in the Yards, a group of four residential neighborhoods reserved for first-year students. The university’s website boasts the dorms have housed “the earliest Harvard students as well as George Washington’s troops.”
Harvard houses its first-year students in suites that accommodate three to six students, but does offer a limited number of single dorms.
Classes officially begin at Harvard Aug. 30.
