Area students advance in scholarship competition

Seventeen Washington-area high school seniors were named semi-finalists in the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation’s elite college scholarship program.

These students will receive a $10,000 or $20,000 scholarships if selected as one of 250 finalists from about 2,200 semifinalists in February.
