Michael Cohen knows of other Trump ‘wrongdoing’ that’s still under criminal investigation

President Trump’s former personal attorney Michael Cohen said Wednesday that he knows about potential crimes committed by Trump that are under federal investigation — but that he cannot comment on them at the request of prosecutors.

Cohen made the bombshell claim during a public hearing of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, as he responded to questions from Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi, D-Ill.

“Is there any other wrongdoing or illegal act that you are aware of regarding Donald Trump that we haven’t yet discussed today?” Krishnamoorthi asked nearly three hours into the wide-ranging hearing.

“Yes, and again those are part of the investigation that is currently being looked at by the Southern District of New York,” Cohen said.

The White House did not respond to a request for comment.

Cohen, who will report for a three-year prison sentence in May, pleaded guilty last year to bank and tax fraud, a campaign finance violation, and to lying to Congress about the timing of a proposed Trump building deal in Moscow.

Cohen outlined a wide range of potentially damaging political and legal claims against Trump during the hearing, suggesting he may have committed fraud in loan applications and claiming he was aware of a purported phone call between Roger Stone and WikiLeaks publisher Julian Assange.
