Israeli security officials escorted Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu out of a campaign event after two rockets fired from Gaza threatened Israel.
Israel’s iron dome missile defense system blew up one missile over the city of Ashdod, and the other missile landed in an open area outside the city. Netanyahu urged supporters to “quietly, quietly leave the area” before his security shuffled him out of the event, according to the Times of Israel.
Video of the campaign event captures the missile warning siren and shows Netanyahu’s security surrounding him as they escort him off the stage.
