Two fast food employees were arrested Friday for making and exploding “soda bottle” bombs at work, authorities said.
The deputy state fire marshal charged Bryan Patrick Kaylor, 19, of Woodbine, and Dontea Francois, 20, of Baltimore, for making destructive devices that caused $2,000 damage July 20 to the Kentucky Fried Chicken, 1314 Londontown Blvd., Sykesville.
Each was arrested at their homes and charged with two counts of manufacturing and possession of destructive devices.
The felony charges are punishable by up to 25 years in prison and fines of up to $250,000.
Both men were taken into custody without incident and are being held at the Carroll County Detention Center awaiting a bail review before a district court commissioner.
