The Spotlighters Theatre in Fells Point is auctioning off nine fabulous hats that were custom-designed for their recent production of “Hats! The Musical” on eBay. The hats are one-of-a-kind, custom creations, but are very specific to the production.
“Basically the hats were designed for the show, and really are very unique. They are large and really aren’t items that we can reuse in another production,” said Fuzz Roark, Spotlighters Theatre executive director. “Unless we do ‘Hello Dolly’ with a Red Hat Society theme!”
The proceeds from the auction will support the Spotlighters Young Actors Academy, a five-week summer theater academy for Baltimore youth ages 13 to 17.
