Mystics to wear Inova logo

The Washington Mystics will sport the Inova Health System logo on the front of all game jerseys beginning this season.

The Mystics are the fifth franchise in the WNBA to sell uniform space to a corporate sponsor since the league allowed it prior to the 2009 season.

The Mystics and Inova began a partnership in late 2009, when the Northern Virginia nonprofit began sponsoring the team’s camps and clinics program. Inova’s logo also will be on team apparel worn by players in practice and community events, and Inova will sponsor the Mystics’ “School Day” preseason game in May at the Verizon Center.
