A 26-year-old man shot in District Heights last year has died, Prince George’s County police said.
Police said Friday night that Kenneth R. Cox Jr., of Upper Marlboro, died on Nov. 25 from injuries suffered in the Nov. 10, 2009, shooting. He had been under medical care from the night of the incident until his death, police said.
The shooting occurred on the 2300 block of Brooks Drive at about 7:45 p.m.
Police said Cox’s death is being investigated as a homicide and detectives are still seeking a motive and suspects in the slaying.
