Police search for Dundalk bank robber

Baltimore County Police are searching for a man who committed an armed robbery of the Wachovia Bank in the 1600 block of Merritt Boulevard in the Dundalk area.

Detectives say that on May 11, at 5:30 p.m. the suspect entered the bank, walked up to the teller and gave her a note demanding money. No weapon was displayed but he kept his hand in his shirt, acting as if he had a gun, police said.

The teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and he walked out of the bank.

Police urge anyone with information about this crime to call Baltimore County Police at 410-307-2020 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7-LOCKUP. Those calling Metro Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and might be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
