At-large D.C. Council candidate Bryan Weaver takes a swing at less than clean politics by working “dirty jobs” in a campaign video launched Monday.
One of those jobs? A leasing agent, where Weaver stands in front of a black Lincoln Navigator and says, ” What do I got to do to get you into this automobile. It’s the black with the black interior. It comes fully loaded. I’ll even throw in the undercoating.” The scene is not-so-veiled attack on Council Chairman Kwame Brown, who had the city lease not one, but two fully loaded Lincoln Navigators on his behalf.
Leasing agent is just one of several dirty jobs Weaver works, including towel boy, conservationist, dishwasher, and busboy.
The video ends with Weaver standing in front of the John A. Wilson Building.
“No job is dirtier than this one,” he says, pointing over his shoulder to city hall. “Join me on April 26, when we clean this place out.”
