Hashawha Environmental Center will celebrate 30 years of providing environmental awareness to Carroll County from noon to 4 p.m. April 7. Activities will include free wagon rides and a history display including newspaper articles, artifacts and photos. Visitors also can tour the cabins, meeting rooms and grounds. The center at 300 John Owings Road in Westminster is a residential retreat site that can house 180 campers for weekend or weeklong retreats.
