Powell highlights speakers for commencements

Former Secretary of State Gen. Colin Powell highlights a prominent group of people, including a member of Congress and a legendary boxing promoter, who will speak or have spoken at Prince George’s County high school graduations. Powell will address Forestville Military Academy graduates Friday at Show Place arena in Upper Marlboro.

“I’m sure that the school is thrilled to not only hear from a prominent military figure, but from a statesman and someone who has reached the heights of public service,” school spokesman John White said. “If you can’t be inspired by Colin Powell, then you are probably asleep in class.”
