The Center for Medical Progress has released another video highlighting the questionable and possibly illegal conduct of Planned Parenthood. This time, Holly O’Donnell, a former procurement technician for medical research firm StemExpress, reports that Planned Parenthood would take fetal organs without consent. “There were times they would just take what the wanted,” said O’Donnell. “And these mothers don’t know. And there’s no way they would know.”
She added, “The co-workers I had, they would not [get] consent [from] the donors … If there was a higher gestation [baby] and the technicians needed it, there were times where they would just take what they wanted.”
Previously, the Center for Medical Progress’s videos had raised questions about whether Planned Parenthood was getting proper consent to obtain fetal tissue to sell for research purposes. Physicians are required to sign a document saying that “[n]o substantive alteration in the timing of terminating the pregnancy or of the method used was made for the purpose of obtaining the tissue.” But on one of the previous undercover videos, the senior director of medical services at Planned Parenthood was caught on tape saying doctors to alter what abortion procedures they use to obtain valuable fetal organs.
