Sen. Rand Paul wants former national security adviser Susan Rice to be brought in to testify under oath about reports she “unmasked” associates of President Trump by improper usage of intelligence documents.
“I believe Susan Rice abused the system and she did it for political purposes,” Paul said on MSNBC Tuesday. “She needs to be brought in questioned on the record.”
Reports surfaced Monday that Rice requested the unmasking of transition and campaign officials who worked with Trump. Trump has claimed that President Obama ordered a wiretap on Trump Tower.

Paul said he doesn’t have proof that justifies his belief Rice abused the system to help the last administration, but he thinks she needs to be under oath to be asked what role Obama had in her decisions
“Ask her whether President Obama knew about this or whether he ordered it,” he said.
